Straightening teeth with metal or tooth-coloured braces.
Available at both our Sayan and Chhaprabhatha-Variyav Road clinics.
Braces move teeth gradually into a better position, using brackets fixed to the teeth and a wire that is adjusted over time.
Metal or ceramic
- Metal braces use metal brackets.
- Ceramic braces work the same way, but the brackets are tooth-coloured, so they are less visible.
What to expect
Treatment usually takes many months, with regular visits to adjust the wire. How long it takes depends on your teeth. During treatment, brushing well matters more than ever, because food collects around the brackets.
